And Masham in the Dales. Big parties planned here for Stage 1 🙂

There will also be ringing from towers all over Yorkshire. And you are welcome to join us from wherever you are with a bike bell or handbell or even an app (google it and you’ll soon find a bell app for your phone).

Other exhibitions featuring bellringing

Bells can be stunning for their sound and for their imagery. Brazilian artist Laura Belém took this to new levels with her dramatic work “1000 Bells” which was exhibited in York St Mary’s in 2012 as part of her work for the Liverpool Biennial.
