Le Tour 2027 invites arts, culture, heritage and wellbeing to be part of the event. Le Tour has a Joy Social Impact Programme. Local Councils are likely to be working with the race organisers to issue communications closer to you.
Here are some photos of things done for Le Tour 2014 and Le Tour Yorkshire 2015-2019 by churches, artists, orchestra, choirs, drystone wallers, well dressers and museums, to name but a few. If you have watched Le Tour on TV, you’ll also seen lots of “land art” eg. circles of tractors, hundreds of school children, football pitches covered in massive artworks. All these things attract the TB helicopters and they are great fun to be involved in making.
