How can churches easily have fun with their local community on Tour de Yorkshire race day? How about brews, loos and pews! Oh and, of course, some bells.

You will rarely have so many folk standing for hours outisde your lychgate, having a party, waiting for the race, doing selfies and always on the look out for a cuppa, a toilet and a lofty viewing point. Voila. Brews, loos and pews. You got it!

If you want to up the ante you could always hold an outdoor service too…..
Hot news! Check out the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire race route. *AND* the churches with bells within earshot of the route.

Yorkshire was globally endorsed as the new home of world cycling and its churches took centre stage as landmarks in the TV commentary. The story continues with the annual Tour de Yorkshire and the upcoming 2019 UCI Cycling World Championships.

If so you’ll love “Tours de la Tour” on the Church Days website. If not, you’ll love it all the same.
