In 2027 the Grand Depart of Le Tour de France men’s race is Stage 1 Edinburgh to Carlisle, Stage 2 Keswick to Liverpool and Stage 3 Welshpool to Cardiff. I reckon there’s church bells to be rung on all those stages. And most excitingly Le Tour Femmes brings a Grand Depart back to Yorkshire. Oh yes. Stage 1 Leeds to Manchester and Stage 2 Manchester to Sheffield. This could even come past my home towers. Much much more to follow on this.
